Crazy Happenings!!

Been thinking allot about all the crazy happenings. Total Eclipse, Harvey and now Irma barreling down on the Carribbean Islands & Florida! First I never claim to fully understand the why things happen. I usually just conclude "life happens"! If you live long enough you will lose someone close, or have stuff ruined or destroyed to something that seems like it should have not happened. This is part of the grand adventure we each call our lives! Some things bring us to our bended knees and ultimately, if we choose, make us stronger & wiser! I can recall two or three key events in my life that where total game changers. I lost my dad now 18 years ago and my best childhood friend the next year from the same thing! A brain aneurysm of all things. How could I lose my Dad and my best childhood friend in that short amount of time to what is considered a birth defect in most cases!! I think you get my point.. I could have chosen to be mad at God, mad at life, etc. Instead after a short period of grief we as a family chose to celebrate my Dad's life and greatness! He had over 1000 people at his funeral celebration! Pretty impressive for someone not a celebrity. There was definitely something to celebrate.

So after watching Harvey and how the US responded, watching how people came to the rescue and served around the clock for days there are things to celebrate. I am Alive!! , People love me, Stuff can be replaced , There is hope for tomorrow! We are praying for the recovery in Texas and asking God to protect Florida!! What I know for sure our great country & people are going to be there to help pick up the pieces!!
