Have Fun its Halloween!

Have Fun it is Halloween or All Hallows Eve. Its a day celebrated for wearing costumes, eating candy, going to parties and make a trip to the haunted house or watching a scary movie! The origin like many things reverts to the early church and is actually called in some places All Saints Eve and was for remembering the dead including Saints. It was actually a Christian holiday separated from the other feasts. Lots to learn if you are interested the internet will fill you in, but that has certainly changed over time!! Now it generally attached to the occult and other things surrounded the devil and evil spirits! The retail industry loves the 9 billion in Halloween sales including almost 3 billion in just candy now that is really scary!!

So people like to have fun and are looking for things to celebrate, get into costume and unwind even for a day. Is why I believe sports are so popular. You can become engrossed in the struggle, the joys of competition and the celebration of scoring and winning. My friend Darryl has been doing a unofficial study with the kids that come bye the office. He always asks them what was the best part of the day? 100% of the time they say recess or PE. Imagine that the time they can run, play and have fun! If you ask adults what was the best memory of the year they will almost always say my vacation! Ok you get my point… and you have probably heard me talk about your core values and hopefully laughing and having fun is part of your core life. Carpe Diem or seize the moment! Find a way to celebrate life, have fun, enjoy your family, make time for friends ( be the friend you want ) and I promise your life will be better! Laughing is like medicine is such a true statement with plenty of medical data to prove it.. Lighten up and enjoy the day. If you are a costume person go ahead and wear it all day! Happy Halloween!!
