Always Be Humble & Kind

I am sure I am not the only one who likes Tim McGraw’s great song that says “ …always be humble and kind”. These are great lyrics and I have found now after almost 5½ decades is there is no greater truth. Being humble and kind is not always easy, but it is a choice. What I have noticed is most of the extremely successful people I know figure this out and at the peak of their success they are some of the most gracious and humble people I have met. Matter a fact if you didn’t know who they were you would have no idea how successful they were! Everyone likes recognition and wants to be noticed, but it is always better coming from someone else. Sometimes you have to get some life under you belt to figure this out. You have to have a few punches in the gut, a few setbacks to find out the world does not center around you and most likely though you had a role in successful events that it was a team who made it happen! So here is my question. Do you want to be the person who people say in their mind “…oh crap her they come!! “ or the person who they say with a smile “… here comes a great person!!“ They are totally different and only you can decide if you are always going to be HUMBLE & KIND! This will determine the depth of your relationships in life and in my opinion this is the greatest currency in the world!
