Just Wait Things Will Change!

The Texas weather reminds me of life. We say all the time “if you don’t like the weather just wait a day it will change!” It is so true… This time of year it can be 80 one day and 40 the next! Rain for weeks and than drought for months. You just never know what you are going to get! Honestly it is mostly mild here, but like all story telling in Texas it might be a little exaggerated.

In life things change and sometimes it seems like it’s a daily occurrence. Change is the one for sure in life. We are all getting older every day, children grow up so quickly, people change jobs now every 3 years, technology is out dated almost immediately, cars change every few years, over 50% of marriages change, people change churches, families move away, people pass, tragedies happen. I could keep going, but you get the point things change!

There is one constant in every situation its YOU! That is why it is so important to continually work on yourself. The self help people mostly leave God out, but I can tell you in my opinion life is two principles . First is belief in God and the guide is the bible. Second is belief in yourself. According to the first principle we are made in God’s image, so YOU where no mistake! YOU were one in millions who made it to the finish line first and became someone’s child! So with these two principles the rest of the story is walking our lives out through change! Like I said it is the one constant so we should all embrace change and decide how we respond. Remember not all change is good, but we have a choice to control if we grow through it or a little part of us dies! So work on the thing you can control YOU. Spend time each day strengthening your mind, strengthen your body and strengthen your eternal soul! If YOU control the daily change in a positive manner when the challenges in life come you will be able to walk them out and be stronger on the other side. Just wait and things will change!
