Thankfulness
Learning to be thankful in all things is very difficult at times. As you get some years under your belt and some life situations you learn to see things through the lens of thankfulness! You begin to see that God really does have you in his hand and has your best future in mind. He can see the end from the beginning and we usually cannot. There are times when it is easy to be thankful. Those moments when you are overwhelmed by the love and generosity of others. It can come during times to celebrate and comes in time of tragedy. Yesterday it came to me during a time to celebrate and I was honestly overwhelmed with the love and gratitude extended toward me from people I know well and people I know through business or church. The out pouring was beyond anything I deserve or could have possibly earned and I AM THANKFUL! I had people who I have been able to help in some way share their love and I AM THANKFUL! I had friends close to me who have had deep interaction share their love toward me and I AM THANKFUL! I had my children share their hearts toward me and create great social media posts that brought tears of joy and I AM THANKFUL! I had my amazing wife share her love for me and I AM THANKFUL!
What I know is if you give mercy it is extended back to you. If you give love it is extended back to you. If you are generous than people will be giving. If you encourage and don’t discourage people will want to be around you. If you seek to help and not tear down those seeds will grow and become amazing stories! Over time a great life can be created and the blessings of God can be represented. I guess the real question for all of us is what does our life represent? What are we creating in our life that can be celebrated? It does not matter how young or old you can start today creating #yourbestlife. Start not only making your world better, but make the lives of everyone around better! Choose to walk in thankfulness no matter what is going on around you. There is always something to be thankful. I always encourage people to make a list of things you can be thankful. It may start slow but I bet you can easily come up with a 100 things to be thankful!! I AM THANKFUL FOR YOU!
