Life Happens

Have you ever had those days where is seems like the world is moving fast in the wrong direction and the things you dream about for yourself or your family just seem a long way off? I would assume the answer is yes for most people at one time or another. Now that I am well over 50 and able to look back at the flow of life I have a different perspective. Adding to that a strong faith in God and knowing what the Word of God says about life it certainly helps me see the big picture instead of a narrow view that can be created during a stressful event or things just generally going the wrong way. Life is full of interesting challenges, journeys, adventures and roadblocks. All of these create our life story. What I know for sure is…. It is our choice to decide the how we will walk through and with who. The people you surround yourself will have a huge impact on your life. Are they going to encourage, bring light, give you wisdom or just add negative emotions. I have learned that a combination of healthy friends and the wisdom of the Bible are a great combination for when Life Happens! Between the practical application from your friends and the wisdom given through the stories in the bible you can usually figure out it is not as bad as you think, has not lasted as long as you think and actually teaching you some great life lessons to make you stronger and wiser. Life is a grand adventure. The world is not conspiring against you it is just a journey that is created by a combination our choices, alignments, family, location and a choice thousands of years ago by Adam & Eve that gave our bodies a limited amount of time. Make the most of your Life Happens moments, choose to be positive and have faith in God!
