Are you the CAUSE or EFFECT?

There is a famous quote that says

“ All successful people have agreed in being Causationists. They believe that they are the CAUSE for what happens to them. Unsuccessful men believe they are the EFFECT of what others have done to them or have not done for them.”

I am pretty sure that everyone at one time or another has said why me? or how in the world did this happen? or why is the world picking on me? Its normal thought process and honestly, I totally understand it… However, the key is not dwelling on it or hanging out there long. Everyone has a different process to work thru difficult situations, but it should never be extended more than a few days! If you allow it to stick in your mind it will create a path of memory and you will dwell on the failure, tragedy or change in some cases the rest of your life or EFFECT! I believe deeply that we are who we choose to be and become what you desire. I know you are saying it can’t be that easy!! Please note that I never said it was going to be easy, but it is possible.

No you cannot think your way into success it takes action and intentionality or CAUSE! I have always told my children that you can become anything you want if you are willing to pay the price! So, it starts with positive attitude, a desire to be good at something, willingness to work toward that goal. If you are an athlete, you have always heard that it takes more than talent. Some of the most gifted and talented people have never accomplished anything in sports, music, science, medicine because they were not willing to pay the price or they said why did this happen to me or EFFECT? Be the person who decides to CAUSE change in your life. If you become the best you possible it will CAUSE change in everything around you and the negative EFFECTS of life will just become distant and in some cases forgotten… Be a Causationist!
