LIFE HAPPENS
I am sure that everyone has experienced times in their life when L IFE HAPPENS. Sickness, death, job loss, raising children and other life situations. Most people talk about the negative side of life when talking about L IFE HAPPENS, but there are two sides to Life Happens. There is also the side of great things. Promotions, vacations, unexpected blessings, birth of children and grand children! There are many things to be thankful in the L IFE HAPPENS process. At any time in life you can experience the fun and easy side of LIFE HAPPENS and you can also experience the hard and negative side. What you do and how you allow yourself to think through these times is what will shape you! We have all heard that the hard times and pain seasons will shape you and make you who you really are and I have experienced that and agree.
Recently, I went through a tremendous amount of pain and came out the other side spiritually stronger and reset. However, the blessing seasons can be very telling too and set you up for future success or failure. It is hard to see lessons and listen to other people when blessings are raining on you because obviously you must know!! During those seasons you must listen, learn why you are winning, be generous to others, help your friends come along with you. What you don’t want to do as my friend Keith Craft says “ Get all you can, can all you get, and sit on the can!” I don’t know if this is his original thought, but it is a good one. What is important to know and remember is you will experience pain and loss, but you will also experience blessing and joy! Know every season will change and celebrate the things you can celebrate and know that we are people who server God Almighty and live an America are blessed. We are in the top 5% of the world by birth right or citizenship. I could make a list of things in my own life and do. Darlene and I discuss our blessing often so we don’t take them for granted. Bottom line as LIFE HAPPENS why not make it the best life and help people along the way there is no higher call than to server others. I want everyone who took the time to read my thoughts today to change the way you think about LIFE HAPPENS it is not a negative is a positive!!
